Summary: A NEFE pilot tests a defined commercial hypothesis with limited participants, explicit controls, and a pre-agreed decision framework.

#Pilot charter

Document:

• The sponsor and objective.
• Participants and customer scope.
• Duration, baseline, and target measures.
• The operational owner and security owner.
• The exit decision.

#Phases

1. Discover: Validate the problem and participant incentives.
2. Design: Define journeys, controls, measures, and responsibilities.
3. Prepare: Onboard and verify merchants, configure roles, and test.
4. Operate: Launch to the agreed scope and monitor exceptions.
5. Evaluate: Compare outcomes with the baseline and document lessons.
6. Decide: Scale, revise, pause, or stop.

• Approved participant list
• Clear customer terms
• Least-privilege access
• Data minimization
• Incident and support contacts
• Change log and rollback path
• Defined retention and closeout process

#Status

Pilot: Specific features are available only if confirmed in the pilot statement of work or deployment plan.

#Evaluation

Use analytics and the revenue architecture. A successful pilot demonstrates evidence within its scope; it does not prove universal performance.
