Token Utility
Summary: Token-based utility is a proposed ecosystem concept and is not required to understand or operate NEFE’s core business-first platform.
#Status
Proposed: This documentation does not claim that a token is issued, transferable, redeemable, traded, or integrated into production workflows.
#Potential design questions
Any future utility design would need to answer:
- What specific business problem does the mechanism solve?
- Who may receive, hold, use, or transfer it?
- What legal, tax, accounting, and consumer-protection rules apply?
- How are supply, value, expiry, fraud, and disputes governed?
- Can the same outcome be achieved with a simpler non-token mechanism?
#Boundaries
Token utility must not be presented as:
- An investment.
- A guaranteed reward.
- A currency substitute.
- A promise of future value.
Public descriptions require legal and regulatory review in each relevant jurisdiction.
Best Practice: Keep the core commercial value proposition independent of speculative ecosystem mechanics.
