Quick Start
Summary: Define the commercial objective, select a bounded participant group, agree measurement and governance, and then configure a controlled pilot.
#1. Define the outcome
Choose one primary business outcome, such as qualified referrals, cross-merchant conversion, customer retention, or campaign efficiency. Record:
- The baseline.
- The target.
- The measurement period.
- The accountable owner.
#2. Select the network
Identify a small group of complementary businesses with a credible shared customer journey. Avoid combining direct competitors unless the governance model explicitly supports it.
#3. Confirm readiness
Review:
Important: NEFE documentation does not imply the availability of public production APIs. Confirm integration options for the specific deployment before committing technical resources.
#4. Design the pilot
Define:
- Offer rules.
- Participating locations.
- Customer eligibility.
- The approval process.
- The support model.
- The reporting cadence.
Use the pilot program as the operating guide.
#5. Configure and verify
- Complete participant verification.
- Assign least-privilege roles.
- Review campaign content.
- Test the intended journey using approved non-production data.
#6. Launch and learn
Begin with a controlled audience. Monitor:
- Customer experience.
- Operational exceptions.
- Partner contribution.
- Commercial performance.
Change one material variable at a time so results remain interpretable.
#Exit criteria
A pilot should conclude with a documented scale, revise, or stop decision. See analytics and enterprise deployment.
